Candice’s first Ramen hack is a recipe for Vegan Ramen Mac n Cheese. The first thing you need to do is cook your Ramen. Candice’s method is to use a medium sized mixing bowl, place the Ramen right in the center and then pour steaming hot water on it from an electric kettle. After that you just let it sit for 2 minutes and it’s done. While you’re waiting for those 2 minutes to pass you have plenty of time to make your vegan cheese sauce.
In a medium sized microwave safe container add almond milk and corn starch then mix those together well. Next you will add about a 1/4 cup of veggie cheese and zap it in the microwave for 30 seconds. After that pull it out, mix it up, and then put it back in for an additional 30 seconds. Repeat this process until you end up with some good looking cheese sauce. When you have your cheese sauce up to par put your Ramen noodles in the bowl you intend to eat them out of and cover them with your sauce, then mix that all together and add a bit of salt. For that matter, add any other spices you think might be good as well.
Ramen hack number 2 was officially carnivore approved by James and while it may sound a bit odd at first rest assured it’s actually quite delicious. The second Ramen hack recipe is for an Asian Ramen Salad. Step one in this recipe is to buy a pre-made salad pack. It could be a spring mix, or a garden greens mix, or really any kind of salad mix at all would be fine. Dump that out into a bowl. Now mix up a quick dressing. Find a sturdy container with a lid and add garlic powder, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, or your choice of other vinegar, olive oil, sesame seed oil, soy sauce, and finally salt and pepper. After you have all these ingredients combined give them a good shake. You want to really get these all mixed together well. Now pour your dressing right over your salad and crush up your Ramen sprinkling it right on top of your salad and then toss it well. That’s all there is to making an Asian Ramen Salad. Trust us, you’ll love the crunchy texture the Ramen adds to the salad.
Ramen hack number 3 was recently snap-chatted by American Reality Television Personality Kylie Jenner. Candice says her Asian friends have been doing this for years but apparently it’s still a bit new to America. The Kylie Jenner Ramen hack is pretty straight forward. Cook your Ramen noodles and put them in a bowl. Add butter, garlic powder, and an egg. Since Candice is vegan an egg is out of the question so she opts for nutritional yeast instead. Also add in some of the Ramen packet flavoring and mix that all together well. You can eat it exactly like it is at this point but Candice likes to add some sliced up green onions and a bit of cut up seaweed to the top of her Ramen. We all know Candice enjoys a bit of flair in her recipes. You could add any other toppings you see fit at this point as well. There you have it another super simple Ramen hack, this one made famous by Kylie Jenner but apparently common in the Asian culture, and it took practically no time at all to prepare.
Now you have 3 easy to prepare back to school dorm room Ramen hacks that will leave your friends wondering why your Ramen tastes so much better than theirs.
